MPR’s Technology:

HSSX® HEAT STABLE SALT REMOVAL: The HSSX® process technology utilizes ion exchange with the patented Versalt® resin to remove heat stable salts from all alkanol amines commonly used in gas processing, including MEA, DEA, MDEA, DIPA, Sulfinol®, Flexsorb®, DGA®, proprietary and formulated amines.

The HSSX® process technology increases total throughput via lowering operating expenses by reducing amine losses and improving operational excellence.

HCX™ HYDROCARBON AND SSX™ TECHNOLOGY UNIT: The HCX™ process technology removes hydrocarbons from amine solutions, such as diesel, gasoils, paraffins, aromatics and various petroleum intermediates. This technology increases total throughput by lowering operating expenses related to amine losses. Ourpatented SSX™ process technology removes suspended solids from amine solutions to a submicron level, virtually eliminating the need for filter replacement, filter disposal, and the labor associated with filter change-outactivities.When our HCX Thydrocarbonremovalprocessiscombinedwithour SSX™M technology, operational excellence is achieved by replacing and disposing of activated carbon and reducing system upsets.

VACUUM DISTILLATION TECHNOLOGY: This process is provided as a service for amine users that prefer off site renewal or need removal of contaminants that cannot be removed by other technologies. Contaminants such as thermal or chemical degradation products (THEED, Bis-HEP, Diamines, Polymeric material and residues)

THERMAL BHEEU CONVERTER (TBC) TECHNOLOGY: A skid mounted package designed to achieve BHEEU conversion as it operates as a stand alone unit or in series with the existing HSSX® skid. By maintaining the appropriate process conditions of temperature and residence time the TBC converts BHEEU back to DGA® & CO2, without degrading the DGA® fluid.
